Date balls
Ingredients
- 100 g almonds or walnuts
- 80 g dates – pitted
- 20 g collagen
- 1 tsp acacia fiber
- 1 tsp MCT C8 oil (optional – gives a creamier consistency)
- 1 pinch salt – preferably sea salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp nut butter (optional)
- 1–2 tbsp water (adjust as needed)
- 1 bar dark chocolate
Instructions
- Place the nuts in a food processor and chop them coarsely.
- Add dates, collagen, acacia fiber, cinnamon, salt, nut butter, and MCT oil.
- Blend until the mixture comes together but is still slightly coarse in texture.
- If the mixture is too dry, add a little water.
- Form small balls and place them in the refrigerator or freezer for about 30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate and dip the balls in the chocolate.
- Optionally sprinkle with a little coarse salt.
Tip
You can also roll the balls in:
- cocoa powder
- desiccated coconut
- chopped nuts
