Date balls

Ingredients

  • 100 g almonds or walnuts
  • 80 g dates – pitted
  • 20 g collagen
  • 1 tsp acacia fiber
  • 1 tsp MCT C8 oil (optional – gives a creamier consistency)
  • 1 pinch salt – preferably sea salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp nut butter (optional)
  • 1–2 tbsp water (adjust as needed)
  • 1 bar dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Place the nuts in a food processor and chop them coarsely.
  2. Add dates, collagen, acacia fiber, cinnamon, salt, nut butter, and MCT oil.
  3. Blend until the mixture comes together but is still slightly coarse in texture.
  4. If the mixture is too dry, add a little water.
  5. Form small balls and place them in the refrigerator or freezer for about 30 minutes.
  6. Melt the chocolate and dip the balls in the chocolate.
  7. Optionally sprinkle with a little coarse salt.

Tip

You can also roll the balls in:

  • cocoa powder
  • desiccated coconut
  • chopped nuts
